The product “high performance hydrogen storage alloy used for power batteries” and “metal hydride hydrogen storage device” in our company were identified as 10th independent innovation products in Beijing by Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform, Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology and Zhongguancun Science Park Management committee on November 5^th, 2010.

High performance hydrogen storage alloy used for power batteries was the only product that passed the hybrid elcetric vehicles manufacturers’ use certification and was bulk used. It can provide excellent raw materials for new energy automotive industry and replace import product. It is also helpful to promote the parts and materials of new energy vehicles being produced domestic, which can speed up the development of new energy vehicles.

The application of the metal hydride hydrogen storage device makes the purification, storage and transportation of hydrogen possible in solid state. It has a high hydrogen storage density and good security. It can absorb and desorb hydrogen at the room temperature and relatively low pressure, and more than 90% quantity of the hydrogen stored can be desorbed at relatively steady pressure in very steady current. The hydrogen absorbing and desorbing pressure, the desorbing flow of the product depend on the users' demand. It can provide hydrogen for fuel cell vehicles.
