In December，2010，the project “high performance hydrogen storage alloys used in Ni-MH batteries for hybrid electric vehicles” was supported by the 2nd special funds for SMEs’ development in 2010 of Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology.

High performance hydrogen storage alloy developed by this project can provide excellent raw materials for hybrid electric vehicles，which can promote the industry development of new energy vehicles. It can also replace importing product and greatly help to promote new energy vehicle parts and materials being produced in China, which can speed up the development of new energy vehicles in China.
