The project “the industrial development of rare earth oxide compound modified LiFePO₄ used for power lithium-ion batteries” was supported by the special fund to promote energy saving and emission reduction of Beijing Haidian District Development and Reform Commission in December, 2010.

The technology of this project will reach to international advanced level. It can provide excellent raw materials and meet the rapid charge and discharge performances required by the power lithium-ion batteries, which can promote solving the key engineering issue of hybrid electric vehicles, reduce environmental pollution and foster environmental protection industry. It can also promote energy saving and emission reduction, which can bring significant social benefits.
